Facilitator Certification Requirements
Nūma Breathwork Facilitator (350+ hours)
Certification Requirements
In order to be recognized as a certified Nūma Breathwork Facilitator, students must complete Nūma training Phase 1 and 2 (or the equivalent with another Breathwork school (100 hours minimum) plus 250 hours of Phase 3 Nūma training.
You will be required to attend a minimum of 90% of each training (in person or online) and complete all assigned web group studies, homework, and practicum hours. This includes:

Reading five assigned books (one per each module of training)

Reading all course manuals and handouts

Participating in 24 weekly triad meetings with study partners

Participating in 12 dyad meetings with a study partner

Completing 18 hours of additional audio/visual course material

Attending a minimum of two breathwork workshops with a facilitator trained by a different connected breathwork school (in addition to the 10 sessions required for entrance to Phase 2 with Nūma Somatics)

Completing a minimum of one week of daily coherent breathing practice

Completing a 10 week daily home practice (options include completing the Presence Process with Michael Brown or the 10 week Fundamentals course with Wim Hof)
Advanced Nūma Breathwork Facilitator (500+ hours)
Certification Requirements
In order to be recognized as a certified Advanced Nūma Breathwork Facilitator, students must complete Nūma training Phase 1 and 2 (or the equivalent with another Breathwork school (100 hours minimum) plus 400 hours of Phase 3 Nūma training.
You will be required to attend a minimum of 90% of each training (in person or online) and complete all assigned web group studies, homework, and practicum hours. This includes:

Reading seven assigned books (one per each module of training)

Participating in 40 weekly triad meetings with study partners

Participating in 12 dyad meetings with a study partner

Completing 24 hours of additional audio/visual course material

Attending a minimum of two breathwork workshops with a facilitator trained by a different connected breathwork school (in addition to the 10 sessions required for entrance to Phase 2 with Nūma Somatics)

Completing a minimum of one week of daily coherent breathing

Completing a 10 week daily home practice (options include completing the Presence Process with Michael Brown or the 10 week Fundamentals course with Wim Hof)

Participating in a minimum of one Nūma Mentorship Pod with a Nūma Somatics trainer (additional fee)

Facilitating a series of 10 breathwork sessions for one practice client, documenting sessions including facilitation details, and submitting a case study for review
Please Note: Certification is not guaranteed.
Each trainee must demonstrate that they are both competent with the theories, principles, and practices of Nūma Breathwork and capable of holding safe, confidential healing space for others. If any of these elements are in question, the trainee may be asked to complete additional practices or training to develop the specific skillsets prior to receiving certification as a Nūma Breathwork Facilitator.
