We are Ceremonialists: Honouring relationship and contacting the sacred
6 Days, 83 hours (46 hours in-person)
Ritual and ceremony are central to a connected, meaningful human existence. As we bring conscious attention to our lives, digest our experiences, and integrate the learnings and insights, we gradually make the humbling journey from a life shadowed by the reactive meaning-making associated with painful past learning experiences into a life illuminated by our responsible, co-creative meaning-making. Our scars set upon the altar of our lives and our relics imbued with our hearts unfaltering recognition of deeper connections and purpose become our reminders in moments when we find ourselves resisting or falling out of stride with Life. Consciously applied, we turn to ceremony and its intentions, protocols, and tools to help us realign with the larger ceremony that is this one and only sacred Life. We’ve come back home to remember and honor and align with what truly matters.
In this last stage of our 350-hr Nūma Breathwork Facilitator training program, we expand into the realm of ceremony, group facilitation, and the deeper non-ordinary states of consciousness that are often central in this style of work. Our Level 5 training provides us with a safe learning space to experiment creatively with an integrated array of breathwork facilitation principles, tools, and techniques amidst a group setting. We will investigate setting breathwork journeys within the context of ceremony and utilizing a wide array of auxiliary practices and explorations to enhance and creatively theme our journeys. Our voices become key as step up to lead conversations, inquiries, dynamic journeys, and ceremonial elements.
You will continue to both receive and provide Nūma Breathwork sessions with fellow students as you explore supporting and learning from each other in group settings.
In this training, you will develop the capacity to:
hold a safe, confidential healing space for groups
imbue your group sessions with both science and sacred technologies such as meditation, prayer/invocations, and conscious ritual
employ the breathwork practice within the context of ceremony, rite, and ritual
incorporate themes and complementary practices to create specialized group sessions
enhance your capacity to listen, self-express, and work as a team
use your voice, music, and instruments for sound therapy and journeying
hold space for stronger, deeper shifts in consciousness and the psychedelic possibilities of breathwork
prepare for and integrate deeper shifts in consciousness.
The future arrives one moment at a time, one day at a time and I am so grateful for my family. “Family” is not only of blood and bone but of breath and energy and collective experience. My Nūma family has gifted me with a full heart, hope, peace and a toolkit full of practices to meet these uncertain times ahead with inspired perspective and gratitude.
