Nūma's 2022 Water Rebirthing Retreat
Join us this summer in the Dead Sea of Canada. During this 5 day exploration, we will plunge into transformational practices for healing unresolved perinatal trauma. Dive into the work and legacies of Leonard Orr, Sondra Ray, Stan & Christina Groff, Binney Dansby, Jeremy Youst, and more.
These 5 days will include opportunities to really slow down and deeply understand and repattern, as required, your birth. Your birth imprints from conception through the hours after emergence from the womb. In this dimension, it is possible to undergo powerful healing episodes known throughout world spiritual traditions as psycho-spiritual birth-death-and-rebirth.
In this retreat you will experience:
-
Body-based interventions for healing shock and trauma
-
Early attachment dynamics and repair
-
Perinatal and near-death movement analysis and repatterning sequences
-
Techniques to invoke and complete ruptured cycles within the birth-death-rebirth terrain.
-
Considerations and contraindications in warm, hot, cold or cool temperature breath journeys
-
Each participant will experience at least 4 full sessions in the water.
-
All lectures and breathwork sessions will be spaciously arranged throughout our time together so that integration time is abundant and prioritized. You will have time to explore the lake, townsite and the facilities at the spa to support your process.
-
Some water sessions will occur in the very early morning, others near sunset, and an integrative movement sequence will be offered each day.
-
Note: there is the possibility of accessing a Sweatlodge experience offsite with local elders during the week. details to follow. This would be an extra fee of $40 per person.
-
There will be pre-req reading and one short assignment to be handed in 2 weeks prior to the retreat
-
There will be a zoom call for integration one week after the intensive on October 2, 2022, from 6pm-9pm (MST)
